Happy 2025 from the Toy Drive,
Thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, and agencies that helped to make a successful holiday season for thousands of kids in our community. We were able to fill all the requests that were made to us this year, thanks to the help of community partners old and new.
This year, the Oakville Professional Firefighters Toy Drive:
Received requests for toys from 17 different agencies
Provided age appropriate toys or gift cards to 6,460 kids
Collected toys from over 25 local businesses
Hosted 6 toy sorting days at Oakville Fire Station 3
Sorted toys with the help of over 70 community volunteers
Sorted, packed, and shipped roughly 500 boxes of toys (Thanks Access Storage and Home Depot Cross Ave!)
Persisted throughout December thanks to tons of coffee, scones, and pizza (Thanks to Piper Foods, Cobbs Oakville, and Domino’s Pizza Oakville!)
Thank you to the Town of Oakville, the businesses that provided toys and volunteers, and to the community agencies that work with our community year round. We are grateful to be part of it and will see you in 2025.
